I've decided to remove comments from my blog (again), and this time it's probably for good. For the last six months I have paid a subscription fee to cove.chat to integrate a comments system on my site. While I have no complaints about their service – it's the best solution for Ghost-based sites like mine – I simply don't get enough engagement and discussion to warrant the expense.

Also, as I pivot ChrisRosser.net to be an outlet for, and about, my fantasy stories, I don't envision many people will want to comment on story instalments – and those who do are more than welcome to reply by email when I send them out. And, of course, those who want to chat with me are can certainly do so via Twitter, or ask to join my private Slack instance.

I will continue to write technical content but will do so exclusively over on my Medium blog. Medium has a robust discussion system, so if you want to comment on any of my articles, feel free to do so.

On the subject of Medium, I have also begun the process of redirecting readers of my techy articles to Medium. Most of these readers are drive-by visitors anyway, only coming to the site when Google directs them to a particular page when looking for particular topics.
